The Real Picture of a Weight Loss Boot camp
The usual picture of a boot camp that people have in general is that of a guy dressed in army attire screaming at a bunch of tired looking recruits. This picture stems from the very fact that boot camps originated n the army to make the new recruits fit and ready for the battlefield. Even though the term has been carried over to the civil lives, a weight loss boot camp of today could not be further from the boot camps of lore. The term is used as the metaphor for getting great results in a comparatively less amount of time. A boot camp usually runs for a period of four weeks and it is in these initial weeks that people get the most brilliant results.
The nutrition you provide your body when you enter such a weight loss scheme is extremely important and your instructor makes sure that you get that. It does not really matter how hard you train if you cannot control your diet up to a certain minimum point. This is not to say that you have to survive on peanut but to make sure that you resist that third beer on the night out. The nutrition part amounts up to 70% of the results of your boot camp.
The part of exercise in the boot camp needs to be so structured as to give your body the overall development in needs. If you have a desk job, for example that makes you sit at one computer for eight hours a day, the cobra exercise could be your best bet to fix those muscles. Ideally, the boot camp would consist of a consistent circuit style exercise regimen using body weights and not too much of cardio. Lunges, squats and planks along with core exercises should be a part of your routine.
The last and the most important thing to keep in mind when you enter a boot camp to lose weight is that you need to get ample amounts of sleep. Sleep is something which can affect your weight loss. So you need to get the eight hours of sleep that your body needs in order to get those cortisol levels to the right levels so that your body is primed for the next day.
